Prices and payment
All prices are presented inclusive of VAT. Apart from a shipping fee of €5 no other taxes or surcharges are applied. Whether or not shipping will be free of charge is shown during the ordering process. LensOn offers credit card payment with VISA, Mastercard & Eurocard and uses DIBS Payment Services to secure your payment. Your credit card number is sent through an encrypted connection SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and is therefore very secure.
Time of delivery
The delivery process is a cooperation between us and the postal services. The time of delivery varies depending on if the contact lenses are in stock or not. The most common lenses and strengths are normally kept in stock for you to be able to receive your order the following day. If you place your order after 4 pm the shipment will be sent the following day. If the lenses you have ordered are out of stock it will take about 4-6 days before you receive your contact lenses. LensOn is not responsible for any delays caused by the postal service.
Return policy
You may return unopened and unmarked items within 90 days of delivery. Always contact LensOn customer service prior to returning products. E-mail customer service at support-ie@lenson.com and state your reasons for the return and order number and we reply to you shortly with instructions on how to proceed. The product must be well packaged, preferably in the original delivery package. Any delivery damage due to poor packaging will be charged to the customer. LensOn takes no responsibility for the transportation of the return. The customer will pay for the return shipping costs.
Complaints
You can always return for a full refund if the product was defective. The product must always be returned to LensOn and we will then forward the item to the supplier to make a judgment. If a product is damaged or incorrect when it is delivered it should be returned within 7 days of the delivery date. As a customer you are responsible to make a careful inspection of the products that have been delivered to you to make certain that they are not damaged or incorrect in any way. Put the damaged lens into a storage container containing fluid and then contact LensOn customer service via support-ie@lenson.com. Please state your reasons for the return and order number and we will reply to you shortly thereafter with further instructions on how to return the product.
Out of stock
If a product is temporarily out of stock the whole order will be put on hold until full delivery can be assured . In the event that your order is put on hold an notification e-mail is sent to the address registered to your account. Please contact LensOn customer service if you wish to split the order and have those products currently in stock delivered to you.
Prescription from a qualified eye care professional
A valid prescription is required in order to be able to purchase from LensOn. The prescription may not be older than 12 months. The customer is required to confirm that a valid prescription exists during the purchase by marking the window "Yes, above contact lenses have been prescribed to me by a qualified eye care professional".
Reserves the right to make changes
LensOn reserves the right that products may be temporarily out of stock, misprints may occur, incorrect information might be displayed on all our offered products and services. All pictures on our WebPages are to be viewed as illustrations. We can not guarantee that the pictures are correct in all aspects concerning the products illustrated. LensOn reserves the right to make changes to pricing and terms. The correct price is the one displayed during each purchase.
Refund
Any refunds will be paid out directly to the credit card (VISA, Mastercard & Eurocard) used at the time of purchase and will take place 10 working days after we have received and approved your return. Your registered premiums can only be used as discounts at www.lenson.com/ie and can therefore not be liquidated in any other way. The premiums are valid until further notice.
Privacy and security
When you order you will be required to enter personal information such as name, address, date of birth and telephone number. During the ordering process you will give your consent that we can register and store your customer information in order to fulfill our obligation towards you as the customer. LensOn does not forward personal information to a third party.
Age limit for ordering
The customer must have turned 16 to be able to order from LensOn. If the customer is under 16 years old the contact lenses can be ordered by a parent or a guardian with a valid prescription for the customers lenses.
REKO
If you recommend a friend that completes a purchase of at least €20, you will receive a premium worth €5 that works like a discount for your next purchase. Your friend will furthermore receive free shipping for his or her purchase.
To recommend someone means that you log into your account at www.lenson.com/ie and send a recommendation (REKO) e-mail to one or more friends. The e-mail can not be sent to yourself or someone who has already been recommended by you or someone else.
A completed purchase means that your friend clicks the link in the e-mail he or she received when you recommended them and purchases products for at least €20. The premium will be registered to your account at www.lenson.com/ie 21 days after the actual purchase date of your friend.
The premium amount varies, but you are always entitled to the premium given at the specific time of your friends purchase. The premium is currently €5.
Using the premium: your premium functions like a discount for your next purchase and the amount is deducted from the products you order (shipping fee excluded).
Example 1: You have €10 in premiums and you order products for €20. Your price will therefore be €20 minus €10 discount plus €5 shipping fee which equals €15 in total.
Your registered premiums can only be used as discounts at www.lenson.com and can therefore not be liquidated in any other way. If your total amount of premiums exceeds the amount of your purchase the remaining premium amount will be available for your following purchase.
Example 2: You have €25 in premiums and you order products for €20. Your price will therefore be €20 minus €20 discount plus €5 shipping fee which equals €5 in total. You will also retain €5 in premiums to be used the next time you purchase something from LensOn.
